The individual is responsible for the development and continuation of relationships with business clients.

Essential Duties

  • Grow B2B sales by leveraging our existing customer base, as well as new customers, through a variety of channels including networking, prospecting, and internal lead generation
  • Prioritize and follow-up on all sales leads in cooperation with the store teams and the District Manager
Interpret and take action on various reports for lead generation, sales, margin requirements, and other parameters as established
  • Conduct periodic training sessions with individual store B2B Champions on various internal B2B lead generation and sales topics, as required
  • Attend trade shows and store events to promote B2B sales and generate leads
  • Work with store teams and the District Manager to maintain up-to-date in-store B2B product displays
  • Participate in regular conference calls or in-person meetings with managers and leadership
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Five years of sales experience highly preferred; familiarity with hardware retailing preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain a balance schedule and work independently with little or no supervision
  • Mathematical skills required to calculate figures such as discounts, proportions, gross margin, percentages, area, and volume. The ability to apply these concepts is also required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and employees
  • Ability to cross-collaborate with store teams and managers effectively to drive sales
  • A reliable personal vehicle is required along with a history of safe vehicle operation

Physical Demands

  • Repetitive lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, pulling and pushing, in excess of 50 lbs.

Anticipated Work Schedule

  • Typically 40 hours per week, or otherwise as required by the scheduling demands of the position.
  • Flexibility is required as actual work schedules are written to meet the availability of our active and potential customers.
  • Travel will be necessary to prospect, follow-up on, and close sales leads.

-Full time - Salaried at $25,000/yr plus 10% commission on net profit
